In the context of a study carried out by the Vendus Sales & Communication Group and "azionare", the communication behaviour of patients and their relatives with reference to health topics on the internet as well as in special social media is being analysed in a systematic manner for the first time. Therefore, the study ePatient Monitor generates transparency and enables a deep understanding of indication-specific search- and information behaviour as well as of relevant indication-related topics and needs. Hence, ePatient Monitor forms an important basis for the development of recommendations for action for the individual player on the health market.
